Kids

Welcome to Bridge Kids, a place where children can have fun and learn about Jesus.  Our aim is to connect not just with children but their families too.  Our church is a place that families can call their home. Our team is passionate about creating an atmosphere where kids can be themselves and build a strong and lasting relationship with Jesus.

Find out below what groups we have running for kids on a Sunday during our services.

In the week

Toddlers

We offer a space which is welcoming, fun, offers play for children and connection for families. It is open to anyone with a newborn to school age with a separate area in the same room for babies. We mainly meet in our main church space but when the weather is sunny and warm, we meet outside.  Each week the room is set up slightly differently with a variety of crafts, sometimes messy play and always a great selection of toys and ride ons. We want families to feel that Bridge Community Church is a place that they can relax, make friends and know that they are loved by God.
For more information and regular updates follow our Bridge Kids Facebook Page.

Blaze

We run a session called Blaze where kids can play, create and build friendships. It’s a fun, energetic session filled with craft, games. Check out our calendar for dates.

Family Hub

Bridge Community Church has partnered with Suffolk County Council to provide a family hub. We are a local support centre for all families, young people, parents and carers to access. We are a front door into finding out how to get support to enable families to maintain a healthy and strong unit. A family hub is a place to get help, information, advice, guidance, and support that might otherwise be too hard to find.

Our family hub follow the three principle set out by government guidance for family hubs: Access, Connection and Relationships.

We hope you are able to easily access us, feel connected into the community and build strong relationships.

Everyone's Included

We know every child is an individual, handmade by God.  Therefore, we want to provide for each child’s needs.  Please let us know if your child needs any extra support.  Whether it is a chill-out space, sensory toys, or a buddy, we aim to make sure they feel at home.

When you arrive

We recommend you arrive 15 minutes early if you’re checking a child in for the first time.  We’ll ask you to fill out a short form with your child’s details and your contact details, plus information on any additional needs or allergies.

Safety

We provide a safe place for your children to meet. All our team complete a safeguarding recruitment process and DBS checks.  We also provide regular safeguarding training and updates so you can relax, knowing your kids are in safe hands and in a safe place. Read our safeguarding policy here.
