Youth
Sundays
Our church youth work exists to give young people space to explore faith, build friendships and be supported by some of our fantastic youth workers. We run a variety of groups that enable young people to explore faith in creative ways and learn from both the leaders and each other. Below are some of these groups.
If you would like to know more, please contact alice@bridgecommunitychurch.co.uk

In the week
Crews
- West Road Location
- Wednesday - 19.30-21.00
Crews is our mid-week youth hangout for those aged 11-18. During term time we meet each week for different activities (fire pits, walks, games, etc). We then get into our Crews, to learn together about who God and how we can grow closer to him.
Depth
- West Road Location
- Sundays 18.00 - 19.30
Depth is a place for young people in school year 10+ to come together to sing worship, play some games and go deeper into the bible with a short talk and discussion time. Depth happens every week during term time.
Socials
Each term we meet together as a group for a social. This is a great opportunity for young people to invite their friends along to join us as a group.
Email Alice to find out when the next social is alice@bridgecommunitychurch.co.uk
Youth Impact
- West Road Location
- Sunday - 10.45-12
On Sunday mornings we join the adult congregation for the first 10-15 minutes of the service and then we head to our different age appropriate sessions. We love to have fun, learn, discuss and grow more in our faith at Youth Impact. It is an engaging session relevant for young people in school year 7-9.
Everyone's Included
We know every child is an individual, handmade by God. Therefore, we want to provide for each child’s needs. Please let us know if your child needs any extra support. Whether it is a chill-out space, sensory toys, or a buddy, we aim to make sure they feel at home.
When you arrive
We recommend you arrive 15 minutes early if you’re checking a child in for the first time. We’ll ask you to fill out a short form with your child’s details and your contact details, plus information on any additional needs or allergies.
Safety
We provide a safe place for your children to meet. All our team complete a safeguarding recruitment process and DBS checks. We also provide regular safeguarding training and updates so you can relax, knowing your kids are in safe hands and in a safe place. Read our safeguarding policy here.
Family Hub
Bridge Community Church has partnered with Suffolk County Council to provide a family hub. We are a local support centre for all families, young people, parents and carers to access. We are a front door into finding out how to get support to enable families to maintain a healthy and strong unit. A family hub is a place to get help, information, advice, guidance, and support that might otherwise be too hard to find.
Our family hub follow the three principle set out by government guidance for family hubs: Access, Connection and Relationships.
We hope you are able to easily access us, feel connected into the community and build strong relationships.
