What you see in church doesn’t happen by accident, but by the amazing dedicated joyful work of many keen volunteers. There is something for everyone and we suggest you give it a try first and see how it goes!

Serving as part of the welcome team on Sunday mornings has enabled me to get to know so many people both newbies and those who have been here for years. I love seeing their smiling faces as they come into our church building each week to connect with God and others.
I serve on the Bridge Youth work team because I believe that faith in God and a sense of wonder, gratitude and obedience to God are so critical in the lives of the young people in our church community. I believe that for young people a personal relationship with God, where God is central in a young person’s life can have such a life changing impact, that sense of trust, faith, confidence in who God made them to be is in my view beyond measure! The capacity for good and the impact on family, friends, fellow students and community inspires me to want to encourage young people to have confidence in their God story.
Teaching young people over the years has helped me grow in my own faith, many of the conversations and issues that we have discussed in youth work sessions have been thought provoking and made me wrestle with God’s word to reach a deeper understanding of God’s plan of salvation in the bible.
